Knowledge is power... Muscles help too
Ben is one of the most motivational men you’ll ever meet, every day you are greeted with a solid handshake and a “Happy Monday/Tuesday/Thursday etc.” but he’s not just smiles and pec flies, Ben is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to health and fitness, and he’s happy to give advice whenever asked.
That’s a lot of stuff!
While we were chatting with Ben, we couldn’t help but think to ourselves “this is a lot to do before 5am”. The main takeaway we got from all this was the fact that you can train your mind to smash a heap of goals before you even have your bowl of cereal.

Making Monday your BITCH
Here’s a quick summary of ABSTACKER’s 10 tips to help you make “Monday your bitch”.
1. Motivate others
Get up and give back, post a positive quote, send a nice message, reach out. You never know when you could change someone’s life for the better.
2. Make your bed
Such a simple task starts your day with a goal ticked! Also if you’re having a bad day, at least you’ve got a made bed to come home to.
3. Motivate yourself
Throw on a podcast, a YouTube video, something motivational that you’re passionate about. Your brain absorbs information 3 times more in the morning.
4. Drink water
Sleeping is thirsty work for your brain, give it a drink!
5. Make yourself smile
This was our favourite! Look at yourself in the mirror and embarrass yourself! Making yourself smile is a sure way to a positive day.
Focussing on breathing is something everyone skims over, maybe the ‘Wim-Hof method’ isn’t for you, but if you just take 5mins out of your morning to really focus on the inhale and exhale of your breath, you’ll find yourself more relaxed and focussed.
Meditation doesn’t mean you have to travel to the hinterlands of Byron bay with a yogi master to achieve enlightenment. There are plenty of spoken word meditations out there for free just throw one on, get comfortable and find your inner self!
8. Set the goals for the day
Setting goals can really help you reach various milestones in life, could be daily, monthly, yearly, whatever suits. Achieving goals is an amazing feeling, not only physically but mentally.
9. Go for a swim
We don’t know about you but we’ve done our fair share of swims at the crack of dawn and you just can’t feel bad after that! It wakes you up and just does that last jump start to the day you didn’t know you needed.
10. Make Monday your BITCH. This one's pretty simple.
